Nation is the eighth studio album by the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura . It was released on March 20, 2001 on Roadrunner Records .
Origin and style
Also on Nation , recorded with producer Steve Evetts in Brazil and settled between groove and alternative metal , Sepultura relied on numerous guest musicians as before. So worked Hatebreed singer Jamey Jasta , Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys , Cristian Machado of Ill Niño and the frontman of the band Bile , Krztoff and Apocalyptica , which the instrumental piece valtio are heard with. The album's booklet contains quotes from Mahatma Gandhi , Mother Teresa , Albert Einstein and the Dalai Lama : "Peace on earth depends on the peace in the people's hearts." The album title refers to the utopia of a common nation without violence and weapons gets by.

At the website Metacritic .com received nation an average of 69 out of 100, based on six English-language reviews. Allmusic's Kerry L. Smith wrote that the album was "worth the trip." It awarded three out of five stars.
