The 2012/13 season was the hosting of the British National Ice Hockey League . After the Elite Ice Hockey League and the English Premier Ice Hockey League, this represented the 3rd division of British ice hockey in addition to the Scottish National League . In addition to the English teams, Scottish and Welsh teams took part.
Mode and participants
The teams played in regional zones "North" and "South", which each consisted of a first and lower class second division.
North Conference
Division 1
The last of the league - the Trafford Metros - went straight into the Division 2 from the second team of Coventry Blaze was able to secure the second last in relegation matches in the league, prevented the rise of Deeside Dragons, but took the end in the next season but at the Division II part.

Division 2
The league champions could go straight to Division 1, but did without it. The second-placed team was defeated in two relegation games against the penultimate of Division 1 for promotion.
