The National Council constituency of Appenzell Innerrhoden is a constituency for elections to the Swiss National Council . It covers the entire canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden and has existed since 1848.

Until 1869, the national councils were elected to the Landsgemeinde . Major elections have been used since then .
Name and number of seats
During the Majorz era, in official use, consecutive numbering was used throughout Switzerland, arranged according to the order of the cantons in the Swiss Federal Constitution . The constituency of Appenzell Innerrhoden was number 27 from 1851, number 28 from 1872 and number 29 from 1881; the numbering has not been used since 1919.
Due to the population development, the constituency of Appenzell Innerrhoden always had 1 seat available.
