Nawoloki ( Russian Наволоки ) is a city in the Ivanovo Oblast ( Russia ) with 10,206 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The city is located about 120 km northeast of the Oblast capital Ivanovo on the right bank of the Volga .
Nawoloki belongs to the Kineshma district and is less than ten kilometers west of the center of the Rajon .
history
Nawoloki emerged in the 1880s as a workers' settlement in connection with the establishment of a textile factory.
In 1938 town charter was granted.
