Neuwirtshaus is a district of the Lower Franconian municipality of Wartmannsroth in the Bavarian district of Bad Kissingen . Neuwirtshaus is part of the Schwärzelbach district of Wartmannsrother .

Neuwirtshaus is located northeast of Wartmannsroth.
The B 27 running through Neuwirtshaus leads northwards via Untergeiersnest , Unterleichtersbach , Oberleichtersbach and Buchrasen to Bad Brückenau and southwards via Untererthal (district of Hammelburg ) to Hammelburg.
From Neuwirtshaus, the St 2302 leads in a south-westerly direction via Schwärzelbach and its Neudorf district to Wartmannsroth. The Franconian Marienweg runs through Neuwirtshaus .
history
The establishment of the place goes back to the Schwärzelbach citizen Stophel Bohlig, who built a house with a commercial enterprise on the near Schwärzelbach connecting road between Hammelburg and Fulda . The approval by the Fulda government took place in March 1719; a year above the cellar entrance testifies that Bohlig began construction work on the inn he planned in the same year.
In 1764, the small Fulda hunting lodge (a two-storey, shingled mansard roof building , after 1803 only a forester's house , monument ) was the first property next to Bohlig's restaurant; in 1832 the settlement comprised nine properties with 13 families and 71 residents. Neuwirtshaus became known through the Jägerhaus and the forestry office belonging to the settlement, which passed to Hammelburg on May 1, 1969 .
As part of the municipal reform , the municipality of Schwärzelbach was incorporated into Wartmannsroth on May 1, 1978. Neuwirtshaus became their district.
