The fifth season of the US sitcom New Girl celebrated its premiere on January 5, 2016 the transmitter FOX . The Austrian free TV broadcaster ORF Eins broadcast the German-language first broadcast of the first 11 episodes from January 30th to April 10th 2017. Episodes 12 to 15 were broadcast on the German free TV broadcaster ProSieben from April 24th to April 22nd. The remaining episodes were broadcast on the pay-TV channel ProSieben Fun from May 26 to 31, 2017.
