Curtis Armstrong
Curtis Armstrong (born November 27, 1953 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actor .
Life
Armstrong was born in Detroit to Norma E. D'Amico and Robert Leroy Armstrong. After graduating from Berkley High School in Berkley , Michigan , he studied at Oakland University , where he graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts with a degree in acting from 1973 to 1975 . Before moving to New York to star in several off-Broadway plays, Armstrong had his first role as Puck in a theatrical performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream .
After he had his first film appearance at the side of Tom Cruise in Lockere Shops , it was above all his role as Dudley "Booger" Duddelsack (Original: Dudley "Booger" Dawson ) in Revenge of the Eggheads , for which he played the next few years got known. Not only was he often called a booger himself in the media, his interpretation of the character was so formative that in the following years he turned up in films like Lanny , A very crazy summer , Die Supertrottel and The university of my dreams for similar ones Roles was filled. The role of "Snot" in the American cartoon series American Dad is designed as a reminiscence of Booger and is also spoken by Curtis Armstrong himself.
