Nicolas Jamin (racing driver)
Nicolas Jamin (born December 5, 1995 in Rouen ) is a French car racing driver who currently competes with the Panis Racing team in the European Le Mans Series .
Career
F2000
Jamin made his debut in 2014, in the US F2000 Championship for Belardi Auto Racing and Pabst Racing Services. He returned a year later to the US F2000 Championship with Cape Motorsports Wayne Taylor Racing. This year he won ten of the 15 races to end up with the championship title. He achieved a podium finish in almost all races (14/15), which automatically gave him a starting place in the Pro Mazda Championship .
Pro Mazda
Jamin had two wins and six podiums in his debut season in the Pro Mazda Championship, ending up third in the championship. After being discovered by Andretti Autosport during a test at the end of the season , he was given a cockpit by the team for the 2017 Indy Lights season .
Indy lights
Jamin joined the team for the 2017 Indy Lights season. He scored his first victory in April at Barber Motorsports Park .
Sports car racing
Jamin joined ANSA Motorsports in 2017 for his first LMP3 experience in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (formerly: IMSA Lites). He won both races on his debut weekend at the Sebring International Raceway .
Jamin made his debut, also in 2017, in the Pirelli World Challenge at Virginia International Raceway , where he won both races in the GTS class. He drove a KTM X-Bow GT4 for the ANSA Motorsports team.
