history

The band was formed in 1999 by singer Mike Perez. At that time he was 15 years old. Several demos appeared in the early years, including Never Again (2001), the Razor Apologies EP (2002) and Waking Angel (2004). After many line-up changes, in 2005 the group consisted of singer Mike Perez, guitarists Christian Lee and Chris Williams, bassist Jason Martin and drummer Martin Alcedo. In 2005 the band wrote the debut album, which was released in early 2006. It's called Because You Believe in Something Beyond Them , it was financed out of pocket and brought the group regional success. Shortly thereafter, the band worked on the EP The Anatomy of a Martyr , which was also produced in-house in 2007 and brought the band first national successes. This was later reissued by StandBy Records . In 2007 bassist Jason Martin left the band and was replaced by Rick McDonald.

In 2008 the group planned to produce and release their second album. As the group was dissatisfied with their previous label, they asked a friend, Jake Round , to help the group find a new record label. He sent demos to several companies, which was unsuccessful. He decided to take the production into his own hands and founded the record company Pure Noise Records in 2008 . Round's mother took over the production costs. The album, called The Consequences of Dreams , was finally released in 2009 on the newly founded label, making it the production company's very first release. The group played as a local band on the Taste of Chaos tour in San Diego with Bring Me the Horizon . In the meantime guitarist Chris Williams has been replaced by Daniel Garrow.

In 2011 the third album was released under the name Illuminator via Blk Heart Group. It includes the two singles Passion vs. Fashion and Unafraid to Burn which were previously made public via the Warped Tour and the Atticus V compilations. To promote their album, the group toured the United States several times, including with Asking Alexandria , Emmure and Carnifex . In mid-2011 Rick McDonald was replaced by Ryan Warrell on bass. In 2012, Cycles was their fourth studio album, this time through Good Fight Entertainment . The LP version of Cycles was reissued in October 2013 via Pure Noise Records.

No Bragging Rights played on the Warped Tour in the United States between July 6 and July 21, 2013 . Between October and November 2013 was No Bragging Rights, together with A Skylit Drive and Hellions as the opening act for Dream On, Dreamer in Australia go. In the spring, both groups were on a European tour as the opening act for For the Fallen Dreams . The Brighter Days Tour began in mid-January 2014 and ended in mid-February. The group was accompanied by To the Wind and Light Your Anchor . The concert tour led through Germany , Wales , Scotland , England , Belgium , France , Switzerland , Croatia , Austria , Hungary and Sweden . One week after the end of this European tour, another US concert tour began, which lasted four weeks and ended on March 21, 2014 in Oakland , California . This show was held as part of a celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Pure Noise Records label.

On September 23, 2014, the fifth studio album The Concrete Flower was released via Pure Noise Records , after the group was re-signed by the record company in the spring. The album was produced by Will Putney , who has already produced albums with The Amity Affliction , Like Moths to Flames and Texas in July . In the week of October 11, 2014, the album entered the US album charts at number 111 , which was also the very first chart entry of an album by the band. In November 2014, the group was part of the eighth edition of the annual Never Say Die! Tour headed by terror . On March 9, 2015, the group announced that it would take a creative break for an indefinite period. Just a few months earlier, the musicians had been involved in a traffic accident.
