Norbert Wehr

Norbert Wehr (born January 4, 1956 in Aachen ) is a German publicist who lives in Cologne. Since 1982 he has published the literary magazine Schreibheft .

Life

Wehr, the son of a pediatrician, attended a seminar by the writer Nicolas Born at the University of Essen while he was doing community service in 1975/76 . Born, with whom Wehr also exchanged letters, encouraged his enthusiasm for literature. Wehr studied general and comparative literature at the University of Essen, especially with Jürgen Manthey and Erhard Schütz . In 1978 he met Ulrich Homann, one of the founders of the literary magazine Schreibheft , and took part in its editing.
