organization

The leadership of the church lies with the General Episcopal Synod (episcopal general synod ) and a corporate board of directors (church leadership).

The General Synod of Bishops consists of all active and emeritus bishops, the rector of St Wolbodo Seminary and the superiors of the order who belong to the community and meets every three years.

The church leadership, which consists of clergy and lay people, meets annually and regulates the administrative and financial matters, as well as all legally prescribed tasks of a body.

Between the sessions of the Synod, an Executive Committee takes care of the current administrative tasks at two-monthly meetings. It consists of clerics who perform administrative tasks in the various areas.

The Chief Representative of the Church is the Governing Bishop, Archbishop Michael Seneco , who was elected in January 2007 in Louisville. A vicar general and a coadjutor are at his side.
