The 2010 North American Open took place February 19-27, 2010 in Richmond , Virginia , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the Super Series category . The prize money was $ 93,500.

The defending champion was Ramy Ashour , who reached the final again this year. Nick Matthew benefited in the final against Ashour from his injury-related abandonment at the score of 11: 9, 16:14 and 5: 4 for Matthew.
