The 2011 North American Open took place February 20-26, 2011 in Richmond , Virginia , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the World Series Gold category .

Defending champion was Nick Matthew , who won the tournament again. He defeated Ramy Ashour in the final 11: 9, 11: 5, 8:11, 8:11 and 11: 6.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Gilly Lane a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 115,000.
