Middle and lower reaches
After flowing through Altenkleusheim, the Olpe runs in a north-westerly direction and, after confluence with the Neuenkleusheimer Bach, which flows in from the east or Neuenkleusheim , reaches the village of Stachelau , an eastern district of Olpe. In the village, the Olpe bends towards the west and then flows through Lütringhausen , another district of Olpe.
Directly below Lütringhausen, the Olpe flows through the Olpe core town, where the Günse flows on the left , this is one of the last largest tributaries of the Olpe.
