This article describes how to qualify for the trampoline gymnastics competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics . There are a total of 32 quota places, 16 for each gender. Each nation may have a maximum of two athletes per gender. The Japanese delegation is entitled to a quota place as the host nation. If a Japanese athlete had not been able to qualify for either the men or the women through the qualifying competitions, the top-placed athlete of the entire competition would have received a quota place.
