Programs

In addition to operas, operettas, musicals and chansons, Low German readings and spoken theater productions are also offered. The programs are accompanied on the piano and performed by professional singers. The house also has an opera choir.

The gala programs are compiled under one topic and presented in a scenic manner. The theater has been offering a special feature since 2015: "Three-dimensional opera". Here the auditorium is included in the stage design and the playing area is extended to include the auditorium, as the audience should experience the opera up close. This concept was funded by the cultural authority as a special project in 2015 with the production of "Oper Carmen three-dimensional".

concept

The theater attaches great importance to staging the productions in the authentic time.
