Cabaret Mon Marthe

The Cabaret Mon Marthe was a cabaret in Hamburg-Eppendorf . It was located at Tarpenbekstraße 65 on the corner with Lokstedter Weg and existed from 1974 to 2001.

The house itself was built in 1902 and always housed a location with a hall and a bowling alley . Until the beginning of the 1970s , the club house north , the shop was then reopened as a music pub Truck Stop after being taken over in 1974 by Marthe Friedrichs, who reactivated the disused hall . All kinds of musical events were held there for five years. During this time, in addition to Truck Stop, many other groups and artists from different musical styles performed here, for example Hannes Wader , Franz Josef Degenhardt , Tony Sheridan and Torfrock .

In 1984, the store on the basis of the birthplace of cabaret, which was Le Chat Noir on Montmartre in Kabarett Mon Marthe renamed and focused on the future plays. Performances included Matthias Beltz , Martin Buchholz , Hanns-Dieter Hüsch , Dietrich Kittner , Reiner Kröhnert , Lilo Wanders and Mario Barth .

From 1988 to 1994, the duo Alma Hoppe , of whom Jan-Peter Petersen had previously stood behind the bar as a waitress, became the independent house ensemble . The duo opened their own, larger house (Lustspielhaus) in 1994, and Marthe Friedrichs took on the program again. Kalla Wefel , Achim Amme , Barbara Kuster or the Schwarze Grütze as well as Die Kneifzange and Ostbahn-Kurti had guest performances there.

The last performance took place on December 31, 2001.
