Osterfeld Heath

Osterfeld-Heide is a district in the west of the Oberhausen district of Osterfeld , which at the end of 2010 had 8,497 inhabitants (including Stemmersberg and Eisenheim ) and covers an area of ​​1.85 km². The district lies in a triangle, the boundaries of which form the settlement of Stemmersberg in the northwest, Osterfeld-Mitte in the east and Eisenheim in the south. Osterfeld-Heide is one of four districts of Oberhausen that have Heide in their place name. They pay tribute to the landscape that shaped this area until the end of the 19th century.

Infrastructure

Osterfeld-Heide is predominantly characterized by residential areas. With the bus routes 263, 954, 956 and 961 of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr , Osterfeld-Heide is integrated into the local transport network.
