Waldhuck is a district of Oberhausen in the Sterkrade district , which at the end of 2012 had around 1120 inhabitants and covers an area of ​​112 ha. Waldhuck is largely dominated by agriculture and statistically belongs to the social area Schmachtendorf . In 1917 Waldhuck was incorporated together with Schmachtendorf, Walsumermark and parts of Barmingholten from Hiesfeld to Sterkrade.
