Otávio , full name Otávio Edmilson da Silva Monteiro , (born February 9, 1995 in João Pessoa ) is a Brazilian football player . The attacking midfielder is under contract with FC Porto .

Career

Otávio started his career at SC Internacional in his Brazilian homeland. In 2013 and 2014 he won the Campeonato Gaúcho , the national championship of Rio Grande do Sul, with the club . For the 2014/15 season he moved to FC Porto in the Portuguese Primeira Liga , where he is in the second team. He played his first game for FC Porto B on September 17, 2014 in a 1-0 home win against Clube Oriental de Lisboa . He scored his first two goals in the 7-0 win against SC Olhanense on October 5, 2014.

In early February 2015 Otávio was awarded for a year and a half to the first division club Vitória Guimarães , for whom he made his debut on February 8, 2015 in the 0-1 defeat against Belenenses Lisbon .

National team

Otávio played for the Brazilian U20 national team and scored one goal in four games. He was used once for the U23 selection .
