Ousmane N'Doye (born March 21, 1978 in Thiès ) is a former Senegalese football player with a French passport. He has been coach of CNS Cetate Deva in Liga III , the third highest Romanian division , since December 17, 2018 .

Career

N'Doye began his career in Senegal with the ASC Diaraf . In 1998 he moved within the highest Senegalese league to ASC Jeanne d'Arc . In four years in Dakar , N'Doye was able to win three championship titles. In 2002 he temporarily turned his back on Africa and moved to Europe , more precisely to France for Toulouse FC .

Already in the first year you could win the league title in Ligue 2 and rose to the top division of France, Ligue 1 . In the following season, the midfielder continued to play in Toulouse until the winter transition period before he was loaned to FC Lorient . With fourth place, the rise was missed by five points.

After the loan expired, he moved to Portugal to GD Estoril Praia , where he only played one autumn season before moving to FC Penafiel within Portugal . With third place, the club was able to rise to the highest Portuguese league. After another six months at Penafiel, N'Doye was signed by Académica de Coimbra , where at the end of the 14th place could be fixed in the final bill.

In 2006 he was awarded to Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia and in the 2007/08 season the Senegalese played at Al-Ettifaq , where they finished fourth in the league. In January 2008 he returned to Europe and played for a year at FC Vaslui in Romania . With seventh place at the end of the 2007/08 season , the club was able to qualify for the UI Cup . After another autumn season, the Wandervogel moved on to Dinamo Bucharest , where third place was achieved at the end of the 2008/09 season .

In January 2011, N'Doye moved to league rivals Astra Ploieşti . A year later he joined FC Vaslui , where he finished the 2011/12 season as runner-up behind CFR Cluj . In the summer of 2013 he hired Săgeata Năvodari . He left this at the beginning of 2014 again for the ambitious second division club ASA Târgu Mureş , with whom he rose to League 1 at the end of the season . There he was able to score twelve goals in the 2014/15 season and at the end of the season reached the runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest with his team . Was he still team captain at the beginning of the season , he lost this status after a red card suspension . In the 2015/16 season he was only used irregularly and was no longer in the squad towards the end of the season. N'Doye left Târgu Mureş in the summer of 2016 and moved to CNS Cetate Deva in Liga III . Here he spent a season, then paused for a year and joined the fourth division club CSM Târgu Mureş in September .

But in December 2018 he left the club again and was introduced to his ex-club CNS Cetate Deva as the new coach.

National team

For Senegal , N'Doye has played 27 times and scored one goal. He took part in the Africa Cups in Tunisia in 2004 and in Ghana in 2008 . In 2004 he was used in two group games and in 2008 in one.
