Oussama Idrissi

Oussama Idrissi (born February 26, 1996 in Bergen op Zoom , Netherlands ) is a Dutch football player . He is under contract with AZ and is a young Dutch national player.

Career

Oussama Idrissi started playing football in his hometown at SV DOSKO and joined the NAC Breda youth academy through FC Bergen and RKSV Halsteren . He later moved to the youth academy at Feyenoord Rotterdam and in 2015 - after he had outgrown adolescence - moved to FC Groningen . On the 17th match day of the 2015/16 season , Idrissi made his professional debut in the Eredivisie . In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons , FC Groningen missed participation in international business. In January 2018 Idrissi, who had a contract with FC Groningen until 2020, moved to AZ and signed a contract until 2022. As third in the table, his new club qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League at the end of the season .

National team

Idrissi played eight times for the Dutch U-17 national team (two goals) and twice for the U-20s (one goal). On October 6, 2016, he made his debut for the Dutch U-21 national team in a goalless draw in the European Championship qualifier against Turkey in Alkmaar . Since he has not played a competitive game for the Dutch senior team , Idrissi is still eligible to play for the Moroccan national team.
