Jordy Clasie (born June 27, 1991 in Haarlem ) is a Dutch football player who is under contract with AZ Alkmaar . His preferred position is the central midfield.

Career

Clasie played in his youth for the HFC EDO ('Eendracht Doet Overwinnen') and Feyenoord Rotterdam . For the 2010/11 season he was awarded to Excelsior Rotterdam , where he made his debut in the Eredivisie on August 15, 2010, in a 3-2 win against his home club Feyenoord . In summer 2011 he returned to Feyenoord.

For the 2015/16 season , Clasie moved to Southampton FC in the English Premier League . In August 2017, Clasie was loaned to Club Bruges for one season . In the following season he was loaned to his former club Feyenoord Rotterdam . In the summer of 2019, AZ Alkmaar signed him firmly.
