The women's 1,500-meter run at the 2011 Pan American Games took place on October 27 at the Telmex Athletics Stadium in Guadalajara .

Twelve athletes from ten countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Adriana Muñoz after 4: 26.09 min, silver went to Rosibel García with 4: 26.78 min and the bronze medal went to Malindi Elmore with 4: 27.57 min.
