The men's singles of the Pan American Games 2019 was a tennis competition in Lima .

Field of participants

A 48 field was planned. The hosts Peru were allowed to provide three players. The finalists of the South American Games 2018 and the Central American and Caribbean Games 2018 were directly qualified . The remaining participants were selected according to the ATP world rankings and the ITF World Tennis Tour rankings, with each country being allowed to provide a maximum of three players. There were also four wild cards. The qualified Emilio Gómez (Ecuador), Nicolás Xiviller (Uruguay) and Marcelo Demoliner (Brazil) did not take part in the tournament, which reduced the number of participants to 45.
