Park Falls is located in north-central Wisconsin on both sides of the Flambeau River , which is part of the Mississippi River basin over the Chippewa River .

Park Falls is the eastern end of the Tuscobia State Trail , a rail trail for hikers and cyclists that runs along the route of a former railway line and is also used by quads and in winter with cross-country skis and snowmobiles.
