Patrick Huckle (born November 4, 1983 in Karlsruhe ) is a German football player .

Career

After Patrick Huckle had spent his youth in his hometown Karlsruhe at Karlsruher SC , he played for several Baden-Württemberg clubs from then on . He went through four clubs in just as many years: FC Nöttingen , FC Rastatt 04 , SV 1946 Weingarten and SV Elversberg . For two years he played in the Oberliga , in between in the Verbandsliga and most recently in the Regionalliga Süd , which at that time was still the third highest league in German football.

The move to SSV Ulm 1846 in the summer of 2006 meant a step backwards into the league, but the defender stayed three years in a row in the fourth-highest division. But then he rejected the Ulm offer to extend the contract. With the move to the third division Kickers Offenbach in Hesse in 2009, Huckle hoped to take a step forward, instead he ended up only in the top division team and therefore moved on to SV Waldhof Mannheim during the winter break .

Since the SVW no longer received a license for the Regionalliga West at the end of the season , the left defender moved within the league to Preußen Münster , who were looking for a replacement for a departure in this position. After the unsuccessful pre-season, Huckle was again a constant in the Westfalen team, contributed in 31 missions to the promotion to the 3rd division at the end of the 2011 season and becoming a crowd favorite. Having finally arrived in professional football, the 2011/12 season initially continued seamlessly from the previous season. After an injury and the interim change of coach ( Pavel Dotchev came for Marc Fascher ), he lost his regular place and only returned to the starting line-up for a few games towards the end of the season. The SCP then did not offer him a contract extension.

For the 2012/13 season he returned to SV Waldhof Mannheim , for which he played the following two years in the Regionalliga Südwest . For the 2014/15 season he signed a one-year contract with Rot-Weiss Essen . With Essen, he won the Niederrhein Cup in 2015 and 2016 . After three years at Hafenstrasse, Huckle joined the south-west regional division FSV Frankfurt in the summer of 2017 .
