Paul Schinner

Paul Schinner (born January 20, 1937 in Windischeschenbach ) is a German sculptor , painter and graphic artist .

Life

Schinner first completed from 1951 to 1954 a Ziseleurlehre . From 1958 to 1961 he studied gold and silversmiths in Nuremberg with Andreas Moritz and from 1963 to 1967 he studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin with Alexander Gonda , which he graduated with a master's degree. Then he returned to the northern Upper Palatinate , where he lives and works in Nabburg . In 1987 he received a grant from the Free State of Bavaria to visit the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris , where he returned again in 1989 and 1991.

Schinner works primarily as a draftsman and sculptor. Many of his works are in public spaces , many are also in private ownership, including in the collections of banks and E.ON Bayern . His pencil drawing “Don't touch me” was presented by the Regensburg Diocese Museum in November 2012 as “Work of the Month” and was considered in the meditation service. His works have been shown since 1996 as part of the large East Bavarian art exhibitions organized by the BKK Nordbayern / Oberpfalz.
