Pergola (wine)

The name Pergola DOC is used to describe Italian red and rosé wines, some of which are also developed as sparkling wine ( Frizzante ) or sparkling wine ( Spumante ). They are grown in the province of Pesaro and Urbino , Marche region. The wine has had a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since 2005 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014.

Cultivation

The cultivation and vinification of the wines are only permitted in the following municipalities in the province of Pesaro and Urbino : Pergola , Fratte Rosa , Frontone , Serra Sant'Abbondio and San Lorenzo in Campo .
