Rectory in Attenhausen

The rectory in Attenhausen , a district of the municipality of Sontheim in the Unterallgäu district in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia , was built in 1730. The former rectory at Ottobeurer Straße 14 is a protected architectural monument .

The two-storey hipped roof building with a southern central risalit with triangular gable was built by Simpert Kraemer .

The ceilings and wall frescoes by Franz Anton Erler from 1738 have been preserved on the upper floor . In the southwest room there is a tiled stove with the coat of arms of Ottobeurer Abbot Rupert Neß (1670-1740).

In 1953 a new rectory was built by the Ottobeurer architect Willy Hornung. The old rectory now houses the Attenhausen kindergarten.
