Pierre Kanstrup (born February 21, 1989 in Brøndby ) is a Danish football player .

Career

Kanstrup played for Brøndby IF since his youth . On April 5, 2008 he made his professional debut when he was substituted on for Mike Jensen in the 3-1 win on the 23rd match day of the Superliga in the game at AC Horsens in the 82nd minute . In the 2007/08 season he came to three missions. In the 2008/09 season he was part of the professional squad and was used once in the Superliga and in the second qualifying round for the UEFA Cup , and he also played three times in the Danish Football Cup. On August 23, 2009 he scored his first goal in professional football in the 6-1 win on the sixth match day of the 2009/10 season in the game against HB Køge in the 85th minute with the goal to the final score. He played in one game in the Danish Football Cup.

For the second half of the 2009/10 season Kanstrup was awarded to the second division club Lyngby BK . After a total of four appearances in league games, he returned to Brøndby IF for the 2010/11 season. He was not used in the first half of the season and went to the second half of the season for the second division Brønshøj BK . On March 20, 2011, he made his debut for the Copenhagen district club at 1-1 on matchday 17 at FC Fyn . On April 16, 2011 he scored his first goal for Brønshøj BK in a 2-0 win on Matchday 22 against Hobro IK in the 77th minute with the goal to make it 1-0. Kanstrup was used in all back round games. He was firmly committed for the new season and was used in 24 second division games in the 2011/12 season, in which he scored two goals. In the 2012/13 season he played three more times for Brønshøj BK. On August 10, 2012, he moved within the second division to FC Fredericia . He came to 28 appearances in the league, in which he scored three goals. In the Danish cup competition he played a game. A season later he played in 17 second division games.

For the second half of the 2013/14 season Kanstrup was awarded to the first division club SønderjyskE Fodbold and was used in 14 second round games. In the 2014/15 season he made 32 league games and four appearances in the Danish Cup. On August 2, 2015, he scored his first goal for SønderjyskE Fodbold in the 3-1 loss on matchday three against FC Copenhagen . Kanstrup played in all Superliga games in 2015/16 and played three times in the Danish Cup competition. In the league, the Dane was runner-up with SønderjyskE and qualified for participation in the second qualifying round for the Europa League . There the club prevailed against Strømsgodset IF and Zagłębie Lubin , before they were eliminated in the play-offs by a late goal against Sparta Prague . Kanstrup was used in all games; in the preliminary round of the Super League and in the championship round, he came to a total of 36 inserts. He also played twice in the Danish cup competition.

Kanstrup moved to Aarhus GF in the summer of 2017 . At the Aarhus team he quickly fought for a regular place and was used in 25 games in the regular season, in the relegation round and in the play-offs he played in all ten games, only in the relegation against FC Copenhagen Kanstrup was not part of the team Squad. In January 2019 he left Denmark and joined the Turkish first division club Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor .

Kanstrup played a total of 16 games for Danish youth national teams between 2005 and 2009.
