Pit Kruger

Pit Krüger (born August 1, 1934 in Mannheim ; † November 6, 2003 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German comedian , singer and actor .

biography

The son of the actor Bum Krüger grew up in Frankfurt am Main and learned ballet at the Folkwang School . He also trained in pantomime with Jean Soubeyran . Krüger began his career in 1959 at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus .

He became a broader public through his television appearances as a sketch partner of Heinz Schenk in the Blauen Bock and as a decoy of Paola and Kurt Felix in the show Do you understand fun? known.

Krüger was active as a truck passenger in the television series Fernfahrer in the 1960s . He often gave the "weird owl" who did not see himself as fully taken and who did not want to take his adversaries and life too seriously. In his roles he embodied the philanthropist and never seemed to have a bad sense; the short and plump mime usually played the likeable contemporary.

Krüger acted in theater for 50 years and also directed . He also worked in a few television series (including two episodes of the crime series Tatort and several episodes of the Zum Stanglwirt series ) and in the synchronization of computer games (e.g. Gothic II ).

Pit Krüger died on November 6, 2003 at the age of 69 in the Frankfurt University Hospital of a heart failure . The burial took place in the city's south cemetery .
