The 1996 Pontins Professional was a snooker tournament as part of the 1995/96 season . It was held in May after the World Cup at Pontins' holiday resort in Prestatyn on the north coast of Wales.

After defeating defending champion Peter Ebdon in a new edition of the previous year's final in the semi-finals, Ken Doherty became the first player to reach the final for the fourth time in a row. The 1994 final against Nigel Bond was remastered . The Irishman won again, he won 9: 7 and drew level with Terry Griffiths with three titles in the Pontins Professional . Only Ray Reardon had won again.

There was 500 pounds less than last year for the tournament winner.
