Poppy Angela Delevingne (born May 3, 1986 in London ) is a British model .

family

Poppy Angela Delevingne, daughter of Charles Delevingne and former It girl and model Pandora Stevens , grew up in the London borough of Belgravia . She attended Bedales School. She has an older and a younger sister: Chloe and Cara , the latter is also a model.

Her maternal grandfather, Jocelyn Stevens , was the founder of Radio Caroline and former editor of Queen magazine . He was the nephew of magazine publisher Sir Edward George Warris Hulton and the grandson of newspaper owner Sir Edward Hulton, 1st Baronet . Her maternal grandmother, Janie Sheffield, was Princess Margaret's maid . Her paternal great-grandfather was Canadian-born British politician Hamar Greenwood, 1st Viscount Greenwood . Via one of her paternal great-great-grandfathers, Sir Lionel Lawson Faudel Faudel-Phillips, 3rd Baronet, she descends from the Anglo-Jewish Faudel-Phillips Baronets , two of her ancestors of this line were Lord Mayor of London .

Career

Delevingne was originally discovered by Storm , who also discovered Kate Moss and Delevingne's youngest sister, Cara. She was a model for Laura Ashley , Anya Hindmarch , Paige Adams , Mango , Alberta Ferretti and Burberry , walked the catwalk for Julien Macdonald and posed in front of the camera for Terry Richardson , among others . In 2009, Karl Lagerfeld named her a " Chanel Ambassador". After Marc Jacobs discovered it, it soon became the face of the Louis Vuitton fall / winter 2012/13 collection . She appears regularly on the cover of London Fashion Week .

In 2017 she appeared in a supporting role in the film Kingsman: The Golden Circle . In the same year she starred in the film King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword by Guy Ritchie, along with Eric Bana , Jud Law and Charlie Hunnam .

In 2018 she starred in the television series Genius .

Personal

Delevingne is a muse and friend of Matthew Williamson .

She shared an apartment with Sienna Miller in New York .

In 2012 she got engaged to James Cook, who works for a space company. The wedding took place in May 2014 at St. Paul's Church in London.
