Predmier (Hungarian Peredmér - until 1907 Predmér ) is a municipality in northwestern Slovakia with 1,354 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019), which belongs to Okres Bytča , part of Žilinský kraj .
geography
The village is located in the Bytčianska kotlina basin by the Hradnianka brook , on a river terrace of the Váh . The place is surrounded by the Javorníky and Súľovské vrchy mountains . The center of the village is at an altitude of 301 m nm and is five kilometers from Bytča .
