The R 514 ( Russian P 514 , the Cyrillic P corresponds to the Latin R) is an 86-kilometer Russian regional road that runs in a north-south direction through the Kaliningrad Oblast ( Königsberg region (Prussia) ). It permeates from the Curonian Lagoon from the Polessky District (District Labiau ), the Gvardeysky District ( Tapiau ) and Pravdinsky District ( Friedland (East Prussia) ) and connects the A 190 (former German national route 126 ) and the A 229 ( national route 1 today also Europastraße 28 ), A 196 ( Reichsstraße 131 ), the R 508 and R 512 together.

Between Snamensk ( Wehlau ) and Prawdinsk ( Friedland (East Prussia) ) the R 514 runs on the route of the former German Reichsstraße 142 .
