Rafael Camacho (born May 22, 2000 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player of Angolan descent who plays for Sporting Lisbon .

Career

Camacho was born in Lisbon and entered the Sporting Lisbon Youth Academy at the age of 8 . At the age of 13 he moved to Manchester City in England . He moved to Liverpool's academy at the end of the 2015/16 season after a successful trial session.

For the Premier League game against Everton on April 7, 2018, he was appointed to the professional squad for the first time, but remained unused. He made his professional football debut in the third round of the FA Cup against Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 7, 2019. He made his league debut 12 days later when he came on as a substitute in a 4-3 win over Crystal Palace .

For the 2019/20 season he moved to Sporting Lisbon , where he signed a contract until 2024.
