Eduardo Henrique da Silva , called Eduardo , (born May 17, 1995 in Limeira ) is a Brazilian football player . Eduardo, who plays with his right foot, is used in the central midfield.

Career

Eduardo started his career in the youth team of Guarani FC . On January 21, 2012, he made his debut in the State Championship of São Paulo . In the game against Oeste FC he was substituted on in the 85th minute. After an intermediate stadium in the youth division of São Paulo FC , the player came to Atlético Mineiro in 2013 . Here he played for the first time in the professional squad in the course of the national championship of Minas Gerais in 2014. Eduardo played his first league game on May 18, 2014 against FC Santos . He made his international club debut in the 2015 Copa Libertadores . It went on April 23rd against the CSD Colo-Colo . His use was limited to a substitution in the 90th minute.

After Eduardo started the championship round in 2016 , he switched to league rivals SC Internacional this season . Here he received a contract for two years. In April 2017 he was loaned by the Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense . This enabled him to gain further experience in the A series. After his return to Internacional Eduardo came to the club to no further assignments. In June of that year he was loaned to Belenenses Lisbon in Portugal . The player played the first competitive game for Belenenses in the Taça da Liga on July 28, 2018 against UD Oliveirense . Eduardo played his first game in the Primeira Liga in the 2018/19 season on October 27, 2018 against Benfica Lisbon . In the game he was in the starting line-up and scored his first goal for the club. In the 36th minute he scored the 1-0 lead with a penalty (final score 2-0).

At the beginning of July 2019 Eduardo was transferred to Sporting Lisbon . He received a five-year contract. The amount of the transfer fee was not known. Eduardo played his first game for Sporting in the league. On the first day of the 2019/20 season , his club met Marítimo Funchal away from home . In the game he was in the starting line-up.

With the U-20 national team, the player took part in the 2015 U-20 South American Football Championship .
