Jesé Rodríguez Ruiz (born February 26, 1993 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ), called Jesé , is a Spanish football player and musician who has been under contract with Sporting Lisbon as a loan player from Paris Saint-Germain since the beginning of September 2019 . Mostly he plays as a winger , but occasionally also in the attacking midfield.
Career
The first stations of Jesé as a junior were the clubs from his hometown CD Virgen del Pilar and AD Huracán . In the summer of 2007, the then 14-year-old switched to Real Madrid's offspring . In the capital city he went through the age groups Cadete B , Cadete A , Juvenil B and Juvenil A and finally celebrated his debut in the second team on January 16, 2011 in a game against FC Universidad Las Palmas due to his strong performance in the A youth of the club, Real Madrid Castilla . In total, he made three appearances in the B-team in 2010/11. For the 2011/12 season, the 18-year-old Jesé was finally taken over into the Castilla squad and quickly secured a regular place as a winger.
Jesé made his debut in the first team on December 13, 2011 in a cup match against SD Ponferradina . In the league, too, he made a brief appearance in the professional squad. With Real Madrid Castilla, Jesé achieved promotion to the Segunda División this season .
The 2012/13 season ended Jesé with his team in eighth place, he himself scored 22 goals in 38 games, surpassing Emilio Butragueño's goal record of 21 goals for Real Madrid's second team in the Segunda División 1983/84.
For the 2013/14 season , Jesé extended his contract until June 30, 2017 and moved up to the squad of the first team. On October 26, 2013, he scored his first goal against FC Barcelona . After strong performances and a few goals for Real Madrid's first team, he was seriously injured in a duel with Sead Kolašinac in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League against FC Schalke 04 .
Jesé celebrated his comeback on December 2, 2014 in a 5-0 win over UE Cornellà in the second leg of the fourth round of the Copa del Rey when he came on for Sami Khedira in the 56th minute of the game . In the 77th minute of the game, he scored the 5-0 final score.
For the 2016/17 season , Jesé moved to Paris Saint-Germain and signed a five-year contract. At the end of January 2017, Jesé returned to Spain and joined the UD Las Palmas on loan until the end of the 2016/17 season . He plays on loan for Stoke City in the 2017/18 season .
For the season 2018/19 returned Jesé back to Paris. Under Thomas Tuchel he only came to one use in the cup . On January 29, 2019, Jesé moved to Betis Sevilla on loan until the end of the season . There he came to 14 first division appearances (9 times from the start), in which he scored 2 goals.
For the 2019/20 season , Jesé returned to Paris. After a league assignment, he moved to the Portuguese Primeira Liga at Sporting Lisbon in early September until the end of the season .
National team
Jesé took part with Spain in the finals of the U-17 European Championship in 2010 , in which his team only lost 2-1 to England in the final. Jesé himself played all five tournament games and contributed one goal. In October 2010 he made his debut in the qualifying round for the EM 2011 in the Spanish U-19. At the U-19 European Championship in 2012 , he was in the final squad and won the title with his team. With five goals from four games, including a hat-trick in the group game against Portugal and the 1-0 winning goal in the final against Greece, he was also the tournament's top scorer. A year later, Jesé took part in the 2013 U-20 World Cup with the Spanish selection . He played all five tournament games of the Spaniards and scored five goals before he and his team were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Uruguay.

In addition to his footballing career, Jesé Rodriguez is also a musician in the band "Big Flow". The style can be assigned to reggaeton .
