Andraž Šporar (born February 27, 1994 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian football player . He is a Slovenian national player and plays for ŠK Slovan Bratislava .
Career
society
Ljubljana
Šporar started playing football with the juniors NK Olimpija Ljubljana and MNK Ljubljana. In 2009 he switched to the juniors at Interblock Ljubljana . During the season he played in the first team in the second Slovenian league. In July 2012, the center forward went to Olimpija Ljubljana. In the 2015 season he was team captain and scored 17 goals in 18 games.
FC Basel
At the beginning of December 2015, Šporar signed a four-year contract with FC Basel , valid from January 1, 2016. He was number 9 on his shirt . He made his Super League debut on February 14, 2016 in a 4-0 away win against Grasshopper Club Zurich as Substitute players. Šporar injured himself while warming up before the game against AS Saint-Étienne on February 18, 2016. He had an operation and missed the rest of the season. Under coach Urs Fischer , Šporar became Swiss champions with FCB at the end of the 2015/16 season .
Arminia Bielefeld
For the 2017/18 season, Šporar was awarded to the German second division club Arminia Bielefeld . On July 29, 2017, he made his debut on the first match day against SSV Jahn Regensburg with his substitution in the 71st minute for Andreas Voglsammer and scored his first goal for Arminia in stoppage time with the 2-1 winning goal. After ten games and two goals for Bielefeld, the loan deal was ended prematurely during the 2017/18 winter break.
ŠK Slovan Bratislava
On January 3, 2018, Šporar left FC Basel and signed a contract valid until 2021 with the club ŠK Slovan Bratislava, which is active in the top Slovak division .
Sporting Lisbon
In mid-January 2020 he moved to Sporting Lisbon , where he signed a five-year contract.
National team
From 2011 to 2016, Šporar played 38 games for the Slovenian U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 national teams, scoring a total of eleven goals. He has been playing for the Slovenian national team since 2016 .
