Ragnhild Queseth Haarstad (2010)

Ragnhild Queseth Haarstad (born April 4, 1939 in Grue ; † June 6, 2017 ) was a Norwegian politician of the Senterpartiet (Sp). From 1997 to 1999 she was Local Minister in Norway.

Political career

Haarstad was a member of the board of her party in Hedmark from 1968 to 1970 . From 1975 to 1979 she was the deputy chairwoman there. From 1973 to 1977 and from 1988 to 1994 she was part of the board of directors at state level.

Haarstad was a member of Grue's local parliament from 1971 to 1975. She then sat in Hedmark's parliament until 1982. In 1981 she first moved into the Norwegian Parliament, the Storting . There she represented the province of Hedmark until 1997. From 1989 to 1993 she was part of the parliamentary board of the Sp. Between 1993 and 1997 she headed the energy and environment committee.

On October 17, 1997, she was appointed local minister. She held this office until March 16, 1999.
