Redlica (German Marienthal ) is a village near the town of Police ( Pölitz ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Redlica belongs to the Gmina Dobra ( rural community Daber ) in the powiat Policki (Pölitzer district) .
Geographical location
Redlica is located in eastern Western Pomerania , about five kilometers southeast of the village of Dobra (Daber) , 13 kilometers southwest of the city of Police and nine kilometers northwest of Szczecin .
history
Marienthal was once a Vorwerk that belonged to the village of Völschendorf and whose owner was the Marienstift zu Stettin.
As part of the municipality of Völschendorf, Marienthal belonged to the Randow district in the province of Pomerania until 1939 . Marienthal belonged to the Daber district. On October 15, 1939, Marienthal was incorporated into the city of Stettin together with Völschendorf.
After the Second World War , Marienthal was placed under Polish administration . Marienthal was renamed Redlica . Redlica today has about 60 inhabitants.

Redlica was a stop on the Randow Railway , which ran from Stobno ( Stöven ) (station name after 1945: Stobno Szczecińskie) to Nowe Warpno ( Neuwarp ).
religion
The majority of the population present in Marienthal before 1945 belonged to the Protestant denomination. The Protestants from Marienthal belonged to the evangelical parish Völschendorf; the Catholic parish of Stettin was responsible for the Catholics.
