The Holt II government ruled Australia from December 14, 1966 to December 19, 1967. It was a coalition government of the Liberal Party (LP) and the Country Party (CP).

Harold Holt became Prime Minister on January 26, 1966, following the resignation of Harold Menzies . In the parliamentary elections on November 26, 1966 , the ruling coalition expanded its majority in the House of Representatives . The Liberal Party received 61 and the County Party 21 of the 124 seats. Holt remained Prime Minister of a coalition of LP and CP.
