The Australia region is one of the eight international regions that send participants to the Little League Baseball World Series , the largest youth baseball tournament. Australia has been taking part in this tournament since 2008, back then in the Asia-Pacific region . Due to the growing interest in Little League Baseball, Australia was declared a region of its own in 2013.
