Reinhard Kienast (born September 2, 1959 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian national soccer player . The all-rounder reached the final in the European Cup of Cup winners with his parent club Rapid in 1985 and was four times Austrian champion .

Career

Reinhard Kienast comes from a Rapid family, because not only he, but also his older brother Wolfgang and his nephew Roman played for the Green-Whites in the championship. The most successful of the three, however, is Reinhard Kienast, who initially played primarily in defense and midfield, but as an all-rounder was later also used in attack. At Rapid in the championship he played from 1978 to 1992, a total of 14 seasons in the Bundesliga . He later played for FavAC and briefly looked after the Rapid team as an assistant coach.
