history
Reudern is first mentioned in a document in 1338 ( rowing ) and is a manorial clearing settlement in the western border area of the noble Teck rule . Reudern probably came to the Counts of Württemberg in 1299 with the taciturn share of Nürtingen . It cannot be clearly established whether the place was uninhabited during the Thirty Years' War .
The first houses were on today's Reuderner Strasse (formerly Nürtinger Strasse) and Hülenbergstrasse, also known as Unterweiler. The oldest still existing house in Reudern is in Hülenbergstrasse.
In 1751 the people of Reudern built a new church after almost 200 years there was no chapel in the village - so there is no church to be seen in the picture by Andreas Kieser (see web links).
After a dispute with Nürtingen about the use of the Nürtinger wine press, a separate wine press was built in Reudern in 1817, which is still preserved.
On October 1, 1974, Reudern was incorporated into the city of Nürtingen.
