Rob Dukes (born March 8, 1968 ) is an American singer in the band Generation Kill, who was part of Exodus between 2004 and 2014 .

Career

Dukes was born in Florida and later moved to Nyack via the New York borough of Queens . He referred to his parents as hippies and grew up listening to the music of The Doors , Black Sabbath and Jimi Hendrix . Later he discovered punk rock and hardcore punk for himself. Dukes sang in various New York bands before moving to California and working as a guitar technician.

After the band Exodus split from their then singer Steve Souza in 2004 , Dukes was his successor. With Exodus Dukes played four studio albums and the new recording of the debut album. In June 2014, the band split from Dukes. The reason given was disagreement. Duke's successor at Exodus was his predecessor Steve Souza.

In 2008 Dukes founded the band Generation Kill together with the former MOD and pro pain bassist Rob Moschetti. With this band Dukes released two studio albums. In 2010, Dukes contributed on the album The Evolution of Chaos of Heathen backing vocals on.
