Robby Hein (born March 27, 1988 in Oberhausen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing in the ice hockey league with the EC Hannover Indians since 2015 .

Career

The 1.87 m tall striker played in the youth team of EV Duisburg and Moskitos Essen . For the 2005/06 season he was drawn to the Landshut Cannibals , for whose junior team he was active in the German junior league. In addition, when he was only 17 he was employed in the Cannibals second division team. In the following three seasons he was back on the ice for the mosquitoes to eat. After two years in the junior and second team, he was part of the mosquito squad in the regional league in the 2008/09 season .

For the 2009/10 season , Hein signed a contract with the second division team ETC Crimmitschau and was also used with a sponsorship license at EHV Schönheide 09 in the Regionalliga Ost. After two seasons in Crimmitschau, in which he scored 9 scorer points in 101 games, he received a try-out contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen in 2011 , in which, however, he could not prevail.

At the start of the 2011/12 season, he moved to the major league to the Ratinger Ice Aliens , where he formed the first row with Lance Monych and Christian Kohmann and was one of the top performers with 46 points from 21 games.

In the summer of 2012 he returned to the mosquito food, which had meanwhile been promoted to the big leagues.
