Robert Russ (music producer)
Robert Russ (born September 20, 1971 ) is a German music producer from Berlin - Reinickendorf . In 2018 he was the first German compilation producer to receive a Grammy in the Best Historical Album category at the 60th Grammy Awards .
Life
Robert Russ is known in the USA as a producer of lavish editions with recordings by the US labels Columbia Records and RCA Records (both part of Sony Music Entertainment ): “Robert Russ, who produced Sony's recent boxed sets of Reiner / Chicago and Pierre Monteux recordings , has done as usual thorough job "" ( John von Rhein : Chicago Tribune , December 13, 2016). His Edition Arthur Rubinstein — The Complete Album Collection with 142 CDs received the world record in 2011 for the largest CD edition dedicated to a classical instrumentalist (“Largest CD box set for a classical instrumentalist”).
