Robin refuses
Robin Weigert (born July 7, 1969 in Washington, DC ) is an American actress .
Live and act
Weigert, who is of Jewish descent, graduated from Walthamer Brandeis University in 1991 . She then attended New York University in New York City and did a Master of Fine Arts at the associated Tisch School of the Arts .
After Weigert had lived mostly as a stage actress in New York City in the 1990s , she moved to Los Angeles . So far she has worked in numerous television productions and some movies .
Robin Weigert gained greater fame for her role as the unkempt, moody, vulgar and alcoholic Calamity Jane in the US television series Deadwood . The performance earned her an Emmy nomination .
